Hellol:
I am looking for information on Vincenzo Bilella of Palma, Italy. As best can tell, Vincenzo was born @ 1876-8 in Italy and came to the U.S. (twice, I believe) in 1899 and 1900. His wife's name was Anna (more likely Gianna). According to the 1920 census on Ancestry. Vincenzo lived at 378 Metropolitan Ave. in Brooklyn with his wife and 6 children and had filed papers but was not yet naturalized. My search for his papers in the New York Eastern District courts has been unproductive. Would anyone have any ideas?

I see many Bilellas (and variants of the name - Bilello, Belella, etc), but can't seem to link Vincenzo with any brothers or sisters who may have also immigrated. Since he had six children of his own, I can't imagine there aren't family out there somewhere. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Possible NYC Marriage Record:

Groom: Vincenzo Bilello
Bride: Anna LaSala
Date: April, 11 1909
County: Kings
Certificate Number: 2895

I would order the marriage certificate, which should list parents' names and exact city of birth in Italy.
