For those of you who follow such things (like me and 'The Boss'), you may be pleased to know that our October viewing figures for the "Gente di Mare" site has (as I write - with still a few hours to go) reached 51,200.... Total views since July 9th have been 177,500

This is a terrific achievement and I think clearly demonstrates that Nuccia's dream was 'right on the buttton'. Our membership base is also growing steadily, and most people are doing exactly what we hoped they would do - that is they are sticking around to:
a). Learn themselves.
b). Help others to learn.
c). Seek help and guidance with their own research when they get stuck....

So it only remains to say to you all.........

"Thank you for being with us - we enjoy your company very much!"

No Carole....thank you and Nuccia for giving us a place to go and hang out with true friends. You know......"where everybody knows your name".

I agree too with Gina, Cathy and Mike
Everyone is very helpful and friendly - feels like your just popping in to your next door neighbour for a chat the only thing missing is the cup of coffee- but you even posted that too Carole Wink Wink

and its the only forum I've been on so far where I've 'Gone Up in the World' I've even got a 'Castle' now.

Carole did you see the photograph of us having afternoon tea at the castle? Wink

I really just want to thank you all for all you do. Yes, its been my dream and I never expected it to do this well or to have so many wonderful people be a part of it. I love the free, easy going family, feeling that we have here. And the fact that people are actually learning to research themselves. I have had so many comments on that. People are learning something (myself included) and thats what its all about.

I also love the "off board" fun..(skyping with everyone and meeting people). I really hope it stays this way always.

Now, lets go make November even better! Very Happy

I can only concur with what the other great folk say about Gente. On a lighter note, both Nuccia & Carole have split coffee with some of my jokes but thankfully they have forgiven me kiss
I think I am getting better with my computer skills, but if I make someones day with a laugh then I'm happy.
Keep up the good work, love you all. Embarassed
(Mike) aka Carnie.

Carnie,
I have spit coffee as well. I don't alway comment but your jokes are very funny and have often changed my mood after a bad day. Thanks Carnie! kiss

Yes, I agree. I may not always comment on some of Carnie's joke (sometimes I just can't comment on them) but they always make me laugh. As for the coffee spit..I'm sending you the bill for a new keyboard! Wink

Sorry Cathy, but you do all know that you can get plastic covers for keyboards, well I think you could.
If only conflicts could be sorted out with a laugh and a joke.
Watch out for my "Santa Song" I know you will all love it.
Carnie.
