Im related to Francesco Iaconelli b.1850 in San Biagio son of Giovanni Iaconelli and Anne Vettese.

In 1883 Francseco was in Denmark. After a couple of dismisses from the country he married a danish women and got 3 kids with her. One of them my great grand dad.

I have some few infomations about the family. But def. not enough. When and why did he leave Italy. Who followed him and such.

The family story is that he traveled with a circus and his brothers and sisters died on the way to the north.

Any who know about this family?

Hi Jacoline
I have a death record for Iaquanniello but I may have made a mistake with the spelling and it could perhaps be Iaconelli.
This record is from Sant'Elia Fiumerapido and there is a Parish San Biagio there - (maybe someone would let me know if I'm way off track here?)

I'm posting the record perhaps it may be of interest to you.

Maddolena (Iaconelli--sp?) died 19/2/1860 age 88 years (widow)
Her father's name -Agostino
Her mother's name-- Dorotea Leo
Her husband's name -- Benedetto Fenaro

Hi Nuccia
I didnt post a link I just typed in the information I had to hand The surname 'Iaquanniello' which I found in the records I had recorded (which could well be a spelling mistake on my part)probably has no connection to the surname Iaconelli but I do know for certain that there is the parish of San Biaggio in S'Elia F. but not sure if there is another 'village'/comune by that name. Just thought I would post it just in case it did mean something to Jacoline.

Thanks for asking though.

Take care
Your all in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless
Love Emmy xx

I have found that there are a lot of Iaconelli's in San Biagio Saracinesco. There's a facebook page for this town and the people on it are very helpful.
