Rosina Valeo Pugliese arrived in April 1928 on the Duilio, line 25. Last residence and place of birth San Floro, Catanzaro, Calabria. Joining husband Alfredo in Paterson NJ. Leaves mother Maria in San Floro. I am having trouble loading the images of the two page manifest but the above details are correct.

Alfredo was also from the same town and I believe he was in the states previously in Schnectady NY and that he returned to Italy where he married and then returned to the states to Paterson. His father's name was Luigi.

Maria Rosina Valeo's birth act, No 4, top right. At 9:20 on 3 Feb 1910 in the town hall of San Floro before the mayor appeared Antonio Valeo, son of the deceased Raffaele, 25, who declared that at 11:30 on 1 Feb 1910 in a home on Via Vittorio Emanuele from his wife Maria Elvira Romano, daughter of the deceased Francesco Romano, his wife whom he married on 6 May 1909 in the town of Girifalco, was born a female child he named Maria Rosina. Margin notes reference her marriage to Alfredo Pugliese in San Floro on 23 Jun 1927.

Alfredo Giovanni Pugliese birth act, No 23, top right. On 25 June 1897 at 10:50 am in the town hall before the mayor appeared Teresa Cimino, daughter of the deceased Giuseppe, 67, a midwife, who stated that at 9:30 pm on 22 June in a house on Via Santa Barbara, from Maria Giovanna Caccavari, daughter of the living Vincenzo, the wife of Luigi Pugliese, a property owner, a male child was born and given the name Alfredo Giovanni. Margin notes reference his marriage to Maria Rosina Valeo.
