am trying to locate the following.

Giuseppa and Marianna Cacciatore. Believed to be sisters out of Mussomeli Sicilia.
Lived in Passaic NJ.

Need to locate information on the trip to America. Did they come alone or were they with parents.

Thanks guys.

To be a little more specific regarding the above. I am trying to get information about them between the years of 1911 and 1930. They originally went to the Rochester NY area after coming to America.

Hello Michael Smile

I did a quick search for you and found both sisters traveling with their mother, Giuseppa Lo Manto [she left behind her father: Salvatore Lo Manto in Mussomeli], and they arrived in New York on November 4, 1911

They were meeting their father [and Giuseppa's husband: Salvatore Cacciatore] already in the U.S.

Here are the links to the two sides of the ship manifest for them - check lines 9, 10 and 11 to find them Smile

I'll keep on looking for you Wink

Hi Liz, thank you so much. Can you take a look at something for me. I know The mother and the two Daughters came to Rochester NY to be with Salvatore Cacciatore.

However I am now trying to find the Manifest for Salvatore and there seems to be only one that matches for me but it states the father ( Salvatore ) came to Brooklyn NY first and I cant read the cousins name he came to america to live with at first. it looks like Barcellona -----. I cant read the last name to well I can see the end of the name as acchino or acchimo.

Thanks again for your help.

Do you have the information for the ship manifest that you found for Salvatore Cacciatore, so I can see what you are trying to decipher? Wink
