Nuccia - I found this at find a grave. It's Salvatore Napolitano from San Fili. I wonder if he is related to your Luigi? He is buried in our "family cemetary" where every member of my family is buried. Al Capone is buried there too.
I thought you might find this interesting.

Thanks Cathy..

I'm going to check this Salvatore out and see if theres a connection somewhere. I think I also found another possible relative but I want to explore it a bit more before I say anything.

Just so you know, a number of Napolitano's left Montalto Uffugo for San Fili and San Benedetto Ullano. And some of them went back and forth because of the grocery store in San Fili. My grandfather used to bring the wine his parents made there to sell.

Cathy

Mom was here today again and she gave me a few more names for Napolitanos. Apparently, one was a priest, too. And, some went to live in Cosenza city too.

I think to complicate your research, you may want to look into these names...

What name's? Do you have names? I think I will get San Fili microfilms when I am done with MU. So many Napolitano's disappeared...actually I should change that to so many people, not just Napolitanos, I have birth records and sometimes marriage records and then poof - they disappear! San Fili, Paola, Laterico, San Benedetto Ullano appear in the records. But no death records...if I am to do a complete search I will have to check these comunes after making a list of who disappeared. But, do I really want to do that?!!
And and my daughter's prom went well. Thanks for asking. She had a great time. Now for graduation day tomorrow (Sunday). They are going to play that song and I'm going to lose it Crying or Very sad Where did all those years go?!! Seem like just yesterday...
