I found this entry on a website that I beleive refers to my great great grandfather Antonino Scrugli. Can someone please translate this for me?

It comes from the website below in case you need a reference:

Cathy,

I saw the information . It's fascinating, the text is very long and it will take a lot of work. Incredible, even the music is there. I wonder if you may find the same text elsewhere in English? Like Biographical music dictionary ?

Sophia! The was my great grandmother's cousin (on both her parents sides). My great great grandparents are mentioned on that page! Very Happy I did not want the whole webpage translated - just the section I put in my post - a few sentences. I love that website! I was able to add several names to my family from there.

Cathy.
This is strange. I have translated this and now it is gone?
The It. text is on another page, I will try to go back and translate again, but does not seem to have space to do it. Like the page ends?OK, it was in topic review!

OK, here it is again:

"The Count Antonino Scrugli, who at the time played a the Cathedral, perceiving the talent of Fazzari gave him some piano lessons. Simultaneously Fazzari, at the time only 10 years old, was admitted to the City's Musical Band.

At the death of the organist in 1942 Fazzari, by then only 20 years old, was selected by the Head Sacristan, i.e. the Head Priest Canonico Francesco Baldanza, with the approval of Bishop Cribellati, as "Maestro Capella" of the ConCathedrale, position he still holds very well up to now at 82 years of age. "

I hope this is what you needed.

Sophia kiss

At the death in '48 of Count Scrugli he remained (at the Cathedral) as the Organ Soloist>

Thank you so much Sophia! This cannot be my great, great grandfather because the age is wrong but no doubt it was one of his grandsons. Your help is greatly appreciated. kiss
