Ciao,
The following link is to an image of a death record from 1826, from Caccuri in Calabria. Giuseppe Iaconis, one of the presenters, was my great-great-great grandfather. Giovanni Pisano, also mentioned in the document, was married to Giuseppe's sister. I'm pretty sure that the document is for the death of an abandoned infant. But every detail might be useful, so I would really appreciate a transcription of the handwritten part at the bottom of the document. I was able to figure out this much:
"nel luogo detta _________ in questo territorio proprio avanti la ________ del __________ Giovanni Pisano una bambina involta con _____ di _____ vecchio bianco _______ _______ _______ _______ due giorni."
Can anyone help me fill in the blanks? Thanks!
Donna
