Hi everyone, here is a letter I am going to send to a church in Dolo. Could someone translate this for me? Is it okay? Should anything be changed? Thanks in advance for the help! Smile

Reverendissimo Monsignor Torresan,

Hello, my name is Michael Savoca. I would like to make a request for a baptism certificate for my ancestor Marco Cibola. I believe Marco was born in the 1840's, but I don't know the exact date. Marco moved to Croatia from Dolo, and I have no more information. If you could please look and see if there is any information available it would be wonderful gift to me and my family. Enclosed is a small donation, in the memory of Marco Cibola who left his homeland so long ago. Thank you very much for all your help in this matter, and I am excited for your reply.

Buongiorno, mi chiamo Michael Savoca. Vorrei richiedere il certificato di battesimo del mio trisavolo Marco Cibola. Credo che Marco sia nato attorno al 1840, ma non conosco la data esatta. Marco si è poi trasferito in Croazia da Dolo e non ho altre informazioni. Se Lei potesse effettuare una ricerca e verificare se esistono delle informazioni, sarebbe un regalo meraviglioso per me e la mia famiglia. Allego una piccola donazione in memoria di Marco Cibola che ha lasciato la sua terra natia tanto tempo fa. La ringrazio tantissimo per il Suo aiuto e non vedo l'ora di ricevere la Sua risposta.

Salve, il mio nome è Michael Savoca. Vorrei richiedere un certificato di battesimo del mio antenato Marco Cibola. Credo che Marco sia nato intorno al 1840, ma non conosco la data esatta. Marco partì da Dolo alla volta della Croazia, ma non ho ulteriori informazioni. Se potesse verificare l'esistenza di tale documento farebbe un gran regalo a me ed alla mia famiglia. Allegata c'è una piccola offerta a favore della sua chiesa in memoria di Marco Cibola che lasciò la sua terra natale così tanto tempo fa. La ringrazio veramente per tutto il suo aiuto in questa vicenda e attendo fiducioso la sua risposta.
