Looking for Gallina or San Gregerio data for Filippo Dascola and His wife Maria Abagnato (Bagnato) born around 1800. They are my GG Grandparents and can not connect them to other Dascola Lines in area, Pellaro, Reggio di Calabria, etc. Any help or archive links other than Bens work would be apprecieated. Sincerely Phil Dascola

Pasquale Dattola, son of Filippo and Maria Abagnato, was born 12 september 1839 in San Gregorio. I have digitalised San Gregorio. I think you should move your question to the South-Italian section of this forum.
What exactly do you want to know?
You can also question the Archivio Diocesano di RC and Bova directly via Facebook: www.facebook.com/Archi...978896230/

Hope you got my first post. If you have any info on my lineage either in San Gregorio or Gallina, it would be wonderful news. Phil Very Happy

Please, take my advice and move this question to "Southern Italy". This is the part to make announcements not to ask questions. Nobody looks here for questions. I promise that in the section "Southern Italy" more people will read your questions.
Since a couple of weeks the Civil State of San Gregorio (and other towns in te province of Reggio is online. You will find it here: www.antenati.san.benic...+Calabria/
At first you wil have to choose which period you want: the napoleontic period goes from 1809 till 1815, the period of the restauration is from 1816 till 1865 and the stato civile italiano from 1866 until ca. 1920. After that you can choose the town San Gregorio.
If you need help before 1813 you can ask me concrete questions and I will look for in the churchregisters
