I put this on the Southern Italy board because it is not a translation. I found this marriage record of my great great grandparents some time ago but have never been able to make out the mothers names of either the bride or groom. I am hoping many eyes are better than mine...can anyone else read what the bride and groom's mothers names are?
The groom is Domenico Maiuolo (or Majuolo) and the bride is Maria Frontera. Thanks - any help would be appreciated.
Domenico & Maria Marriage
Close up of names
Even a guess would be helpful because I can try to cross check the names off the immigration files and other local sources I have to see if they are surnames of the area.

I read "Pietro" and "Rosaria [Parina?]" for Domenico's parents... and, "Antonio" and "Domenica [can't decipher surname]" for Maria's parents...

I know, not that helpful, LOL

No, that is helpful. Is it me or does Rosaria's surname look very similiar to that of the mayor (at the top of the document)? His name is Parisi I think. Confused

Domenicas surname looks like Schinicce/Schinicca or Schinnce/Schinnca. The Schin (to me) shows very clearly. The rest is not so clear. And Rosaria Parisa?

His name is Domenico Maiuolo which during this time period was spelled Majuolo which reminds me does anyone know why j and i replace each other during different time periods? I had that same thing happens with another one of my surnames Aiello - which was Ajello in the older records.

Schirnice? Shocked Is that Italian? Sorry for all the questions...
Thanks for the input ladies! kiss

My best guess is Rosaria Penna and Domenica Schinnea

Confused Confused
Penna or Parise?
Schinnea or Schirina?
I think you need more documents to verify.
