Hi Everyone,

This is the marriage record for my great-great-great grandfather, Matteo Barone and his first wife, Teresa Amore. I can tell that they were married on on the 28th of April, 1822. Line 10/11 (counting below the date) shows the name Matteo Barone, legitimate. I believe this line also has an abbreviation (for quondam?) showing that Matteo's father Rosario (identified on the next line) is deceased. I can't tell what the word before Rosarii is, though. Line 12 shows that Matteo's mother, Joanna (Giovanna) Lorenzo is living.

The record then identifies Teresa Amore, also born legitimate, the daughter of Rosarii (Rosario), deceased and Joanna (Giovanna) Messina, deceased.

My question is, who are the other people listed on this certificate and what is their significance? It looks like their names are Don Georgio Ragusa, Veno de Ragusa (Veno = Vencenzo?), Don Petro Frasca and Concepto Giorrotona?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
