under resources for form letters. You don't have to send money. Perhaps sending a self-addressed envelope (with NO stamp) may help. Also, I photocopy my license and send them a copy with my request, as some towns require identification. You should give them the name of your ancestor and the year or date of their birth. Most towns will not search more than a year for your request, in my experience. It is best to ask for the integral act: una copia integrale del atto di nascita (Carole, am I right on del or is it dell'atto???). The integrale act will have more information on it than the extract.
