Hello everyone!

I recently had a small breakthrough in researching the Rinella side of my family from Termini. I wanted to ask you all for help to see if anyone has any connections or can assist my in research. I have been led to Canada (Toronto) and Termini and am now stuck.

Here is what I have and would like to expand upon:

Santo(Sam) Rinella
b. abt 1885 in Termini
He entered the US from Canada (toronto) on 17 Sept 1907.
On his border crossing card, it says that he is going to Akron, OH to see his brother Francesco. It also lists his father Domenico as a contact in Termini.
d. abt 1919

Next is who I believe to be his brother..
Antonio(Tony) Rinella
b. abt 1891 in Termini
He also came in through Canada abt 1919 but no further info is listed.
d. abt 1966

Can anyone provide any assistance? Thanks!

Search on the following Summit county Ohio site for Rinella and you'll locate Caterina Quattrocchi Rinella's naturalzation documents as well as Antonio Rinella's documents. The original documents will be displayed as PDF's which I am unable to link.

204.126.123.146/Natura...earch.aspx

Antonio's wife, Catherine, and his daughter Rose M, were the witnesses for Caterina Quattrocchi when she naturalized.

It appears that Antonio arrived by train. On his papers it shows via MCRR which is the Michigan Central Railroad.

I already have these reference, but still THANK YOU!

I have ordered my grandfathers death cert.,hoping that his fathers name will be on there correctly. He was Santo (Sam) or something. 'Family rumor' has it that he is buried in California but I do not know.

I have also written a letter to my mom's half brother who she hasnt spoken to since they were kids. I hope he responds.

I know quite a few years have passed since this thread was opened and posted on, but I finally had a small breakthrough last night.

I finally found the marriage record for Caterina Quattrocchi and Santo Rinella, I do not have the image with me at work and can post it later if anyone is interested. They were married in Akron, OH in 1911.

This finally ends the speculation as to what his name was for me. There is no one in my family that is alive that was able to do that for me.
