#1: New Name... Author: lilbees, Location: Georgia, USAPosted: Sun Aug 03, 2008 9:29 am ---- I have a new name I am now working on.
Catherine Talaia? Talaja?
It is listed on the record I have that place of origination is Acquaviva, Toscany. But, I believe her family immigrated to Cosenza, then Sircusa prior to her marriage in Carlentini about 1902. I have sent for possible marriage record but it will be a while before I hear anything. Is anyone familiar with the name? The correct spelling?
Thanks,
lilbees

The record I am looking at is a baptismal record for one of their children dated 1903. It is in French so the name may be Caterine but her death listing (in french) is also Catherine.
