They are suffering through a catastrophe of epic proportions with damage and loss of life significantly worse than the earthquake which struck Abruzzo this past April. And if you can, donate a few dollars to the Red Cross for Haitian relief.

Canada is prepared to donate all kinds of financial and other assistance to help (our Governor General has roots in the Caribbean). They are definitely in my thoughts and prayers.
