#1: WW I Casualty Algeria/Tunisia Author: lilbees, Location: Georgia, USAPosted: Mon Dec 27, 2010 10:40 am ---- I posted this question on the IG forum as well as Gente.
I recently learned that one of my family members was killed during the early part of WW I in either Algeria or Tunisia. I believe he was fighting with the French at the time. He was just barely 17 or 18 at the time.
How would I find any information on these casualties. The death year would be 1915 or 1916. He could be listed under his French name of Pierre Rescigno or Giovanni Pietro Rescigno.
