Hi all, these are some books that I have read not too long ago and have given me some insight into italian history and culture.

1. The Sistine Secrets. A very indepth book regarding the Sistine Chaples paintings of michelangela. Possible hidden messages within the paintings. ISBN# is 978--0-06-146904-6

2, American Passage by Vincent J. Cannato. This book deals with account of actual passengers coming to America. Not only Italian passengers. ISBN # 978-0-06-074274-4

3. A day in the Life of Ancient Rome by Alberto Angela. This book focus is on daily life in Ancient Rome. Taking into account from Sunrise to Sunset in the lives of the "regular people" all the way up to Aristocracy. ISBN # 978-1-933372-71-6

4. The Art of the Italian Renaissance. This book deals with Sculpture, Paintings and Architecture from this period of Italy's past. ISBN # 978-3-8331-4674-9

5. Florence, Art and Architecture. Bassically dealing with the books title. ISBN # 978-3-8331-4672-5
