#1: Passato remoto versus trapassato remoto Author: Poipu04, Location: ConnecticutPosted: Wed Oct 24, 2007 9:12 am ---- I have another grammar question. I know that there are several past tenses in Italian, as there are in English. Can someone explain how do you know when to use each one.
Ho parlato= I have read.
Is it also "I did read"?
Avevo parlato.
Is that "I had read"
When would you use "Parlai"?
Thank you for your help! I am taking a class but appreciate your extra help.
