The link is to the death act of Pasquale Zingone - the man who allegedly died in a fire that resulted from an earthquake. Can someone translate the notes. I am curious if there are any clues to his death.

Cathy, the document does not mention any cause of death.

Italian death records never state cause of death, they just report who died, when and where.
If you need a cause of death, you can find it in the hospital (if any) where there is the health folder of the person who died.
The certificates and health reports kept in this folder are not public records.
I hope it helps,
bye Riccardo

Thank you gentlemen! I knew that cause of death was not normally listed but I was hoping for a clue...
