Oh I'm sorry Lisa..
I missed your last post. Weekends tend to get a bit busy around here.
You can try searching for living family members using the Italian White Pages. You can just plug in the surnames you are looking for and see if anything comes up. You can then either try writing a letter to the persons you are interested or call them if you feel comfortable.
Unfortunately, I am in Canada so calling Italy is not something I can really do for you. You will have to do that on your own.

Feel free to compose a letter that you might like to send to potential relatives in English introducing yourself, and post it on our translation board. Someone will help translate it for you.

thank you Nuccia; I appreciate all your help. This is the furthest I have ever gotten with researching my family tree. You are wonderful!
I am planning on visiting Italy in a year or so and would like to see if I can connect beforehand. With regard to my grandmother Jennie Verzi; were you able to findout any info on her?
Thank you again!
Lisa

This looks like it could Jennie and her family in the 1920 Census:

Looks like Micheal arrived in 1903 and Teresa in 1895 so perhaps they married in the USA?

Here are Micheal's WW1 Draft Registration Card info:
