For those of you who don't know - I have, on the advice of my cardiologist, just purchased a treadmill (who's that laughing at the back?.....).

Well now it's set up I have to learn all about it BEFORE I put a foot on it! But it has a dash board a bit like I imagine the 'Shuttle' has.... and I'm s'posed to control it - yeah, right....

Me? Go figure.... I couldn't organise a proverbial (p*ss-up) in a brewery... I can just see that I'm going to end up like

Oh Carole I just cant stop laughing I was just imagining myself on on of those machines! My daughter had an exercise step machine in the games room in France I would have needed a hoist to get ME on it - didnt try that one but she had another one where you put a strap around your hips and when it was switched on it vibrated - you just had to stand still and let the machine do the work - couldnt leave it on too long it was overworked!!!!!!!
Joking apart it would be good for you and unlike going for a walk where you sometimes forget you have to walk all the way back at least when you come off the machine your home and dry! my physiotherapist suggested that to me but I havent done anything about it yet -I saw a small pedal one that you could use and still sit in the chair - that would suit me fine.
Have fun, just remember to hold on tight!! and have a few cushions placed around in case of accidents
