Hello,

I'm a U.S. Citizen working for the Department of Defense in Stuttgart, Germany. I believe I meet the am eligible to petition for Italian (dual) citizenship under Jure Sanguini Sin Formazioni Guidelines. ( I was born in 1949; my mother was born in Italy and became a naturalized U.S. Citizen after I was born; I never renounced my right to Italian Citizenship)

Where should I process my petition for Italian Citizenship?

Thank you for the help. Regards

a.d.f.

Hello,
yes you can apply.
The italian consulate where you can apply is the nearest where you have your legal resident.
Are you legally resident of Germany or of USA?
Regards
Riccardo
