We had a brick/pizza oven built in our backyard recently (wasn't my idea - I still can't find the kitchen). Does anyone have any recipes for breads/pizzas/etc. that can be baked in this way?

Is it a wood burning oven like this one in the background where the bread/pizza is placed on the hot stone base?



Or is it an 'oven' like this where the food is on a metal grill like a barbeque?



I ask because recipes are usually specific for the stone based wood burning ovens!

Yep it's wood burning exactly like the one in the picture.

Gina, I just tore mine down before Lou got sick and was going to rebuild it..god How I miss it. Wish I had never taken it down. I have no recipes though...

Now I'm with Cathy...I'll take one of him too...
