Hi Hope everyone is doing well. My Name is BethAnne Silvaggio, I am from MA. My great Aunt said that our family is from Ripabottni Campobasso, Italy. I've been told that we still have family in Italy & Canada. My great grandparent’s names are Maria (maiden name of Paduano) & Leonardo Silvaggio. I have been working on a Family tree for quite some time. I am on Ancestery.com if anyone wants to see if any of the dates ring a bell. I have also been told that my great grandfather Leonardo had two brothers Frank and Nick his mother and father (my great great grandparents were Emila & Domenic I know we have tons of relatives in Montreal ,Canada. Welcome Beth Anne......you probably already know this, but Campobasso is actually located in Southern Italy......Molise is located just north of Puglia. There is a really neat town about 1 hour away called Lucera (which is located in the Province of Foggia, in the Region of Puglia) which I visited with my cousins who live in the city of Foggia. Frederick II built a heavily fortified castle in Lucera and protected it with Saracen Mercenaries.

My Italian teacher in night school was born in Campobasso along with his cousin who wrote a book:
