Am a new one to the group...and just say that I learned about this site recently.
Trying to learn more about my grandfather that was lately learned to have been born in Italy and them emigrated to Scotland.
In trying to learn more about him found out that a lot of the Italians that went there were from Tuscany and that many of his name (Giannasi) lived there--in Lucca or Modena.
Does this site do genealogy??? (Maybe I should have asked that first???)

Our researchers will be able to help and guide you to discover your roots. So post here as many details as you can about them - even the faintest clue can often lead to discoveries. They (the researchers and all members) are all pretty formidable too. They all just love piling in to help solve mysteries.
