Hi, New here & trying to find any information about my great grandfather, Oreste Gallozzi or Galozzi. I think he was a mechanic. All I know is that he was born around 1870 & arrived in America in 1903. He is from the town, Sant'elia Fiumerapido. Would appreciate any information about him, his family or his friends. When he came to America, he listed his friend as a Mr. Vincenzo Ricozzi. Perhaps that is a cousin to him?
Thanks.

Civil records in Sant'ELia were destroyed in the bombing of WW2. Since he left before the war it is unlikely you will find his birth record in the microfilmed records for this town. However parish records did survive and can be searched personally by appointment with the priest.

Hi,
I won't be traveling to Italy any time soon. Do you know which churches could help me find out more information?

Thanks.
