Mio padre ha già preso contatti con il comune di Feroleto ma gli impiegati sono ancora in ferie.

Nei prossimi giorni riproverà.

Can you tell me what this means? I think it means that her father contacted the town hall in Feroleto but the employees were still ... I don't know the next word!

In the next days, he will return. Is that what the next sentence means?

Sounds like they are still on holidays...Ferie Agosto..August Vacation. I'm sure someone can correct this but it sounds pretty good at this point.

He'll try (to contact them) again in the coming days.

Thanks, Nuccia. I sort of guessed that by the context but could not find "ferie" in the dictionary.

Lori,
What Feroleto comune office is he trying to contact? Feroleto Antico or Feroleto della Chiesa?

My father has already contacted Foroleto's comune but office workers are on holiday.
He'll try to contact them again in the coming days.

Biff: It is della Chiesa. Wouldn't it be nice if it were Antico, then we would be paesani? Gogana, thank you for interpreting that sentence for me. Wink
