Questions about birth records

I am not able to make out the occupation cited for Stefano Dragotto in Gaetano's birth record. Any ideas as to what is written?

And Giuseppe Monte is the brother of Salvatore Monte, my grandmother's father. This birth record is difficult to read. I would appreciate any help in deciphering what is written.

Hi Tom I'm not very good at translating but the only occupation I could make out was that of the Midwife (Lavatrice) To me is looks as though it was the midwife who had registered the birth. I noticed too that it also has the address of the house where the baby was born. Stefano was 43 years old when Gaetano was born and his wife was 32 years. Hopefully someone else will be able to correct any mistakes I may have made.
