How can people do this?

This is a case just breaking here in Europe about yet another family in Austria - it is harrowing and I can't understand how people can even think about such things - let alone carry them out.

I wonder how many other children in the world are being treated like this? My heart cries for them - it reallly does...

Carole, I work in the court system in the US and it is astounding how many children are raped by their relatives, be it father, step-father, or mother's boyfriend. The sad thing is that I only see a small percent because the vast majority go unreported. I don't know what is wrong with people and how their hearts can be so full of evil.
