La dichiarazione di nascita è resa dalla levatrice Carmela Distefano perché il padre è assente dal paese. Annotazione a margine: Sapienza Natale ha contratto matrimonio con Carmela Rapisarda fu Giuseppe il 22 Luglio 1906 a Belpasso.

For Rita:
OK - here's what you should be doing to post an image link from Image Shack that readers can open, or one that is ready opened to read...
1. Get your image hosted by Image Shack.
2.Choose the resize image you want for it and then check that box.?
640x480 (for message boards) is good.
3. When hosting is complete choose the 'link' you wish to use (the 'Direct link to image' is a good one) and cut ready to paste to your 'Reply' at "Gente"
4.On your reply box choose the 'image' box (little mountain) if you wantthe document to remain open like a picture. (Not too good for documents - takes up a lot of room)
OR
5.Choose the 'Link' icon (winged world) and paste your copied link in the box provided.... ensure that you don't have TWO http:// signs in that box before you post it - if you have then, delete one of them or it wont work!
6.In the SECOND box enter the name or 'your code/ref' for the document.
this one should look like this in your reply box before you 'Preview' or 'Submit'
[url=http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxjpg. ]Your document name[/url]
and like this AFTER you post
Your document name

Tiger posted this after she went back to FHC and got a clearer image. Just out of curiousity, can you post what the mothers name is? This would be the third surname for Lucia (if you think this is the same Lucia Proietto/DiStefano).

E' difficile da dire  Sembra Lindo, ma potrebbe essere anche Santo e in ogni caso è una cosa molto strana perché Lucia è sempre la stessa (almeno secondo me): diciamo che potrebbe essere una "distrazione" dell'Ufficiale di Stato Civile

I just can't seem to get the imageshack to work to post the document of Eugenio Sapienza. :/ I'll try it again now. It won't go through. It comes back saying 503 server not available.
