I received this email from my Comune in Sicily, and I think I know what it says.

Egregio Sig.Savoca, in data 13.05.2008, a seguito sua richiesta, Le ho inviato la copia dell'atto di nascita di CAMPIONE Francesca nata il 01.03.1837 ma non ho potuto mandarle quello di Mamazza Salvatore (marito) perchè nei registri di nascita di questo Comune (dal 1820 al 1850) non risultava (forse è nato in altro Comune?).
Per altre notizie potrà rivolgersi alla Parrocchia di questo Comune (Via IV Novembre).

Basicly, it's that they found my request for FRancesca, but were unable to find anything on Salvatore either because they didn't have records from those years, they didn't file his birth, or he was from another town. My guess is that he was born in another town, as the next town over Francivilla Di Sicilia has a much larger Mamaza population then Castiglione does. So I will request the record from there also. Am I on the right track?

My next step is to reply to this. So depending on what the real translation is I will write a reply that I need help translating into Italian. Any help would be great. Thank you in advance !!!

Dear Mr. Savoca. on the 13.05.2008, following your request, I have forwarded a copy of the birth certificate of CAMPIONE Francesca born on 01.03.1837 but I was unable to send that of Mamazza Salvatore (husband) because in the Register of Births for this Comune (between 1820 and 1850) he is not recorded (perhaps he was born in aother Comune?).
For the other news you could try asking at the Parish of this Coune (Via IV Novembre).
