I have an uncle that travelled from Sicily, probably out of Palermo but not sure, on the Sardegna on Feb 4 1914 (arriving 2/17). Or at least that's what it says on his naturalization form. Apparently it disn't go through Ellis Island at that time. Does anyone know how I can find out what port it went through, and then where to find the ship manifest? Thanks.

He could have gone through the Philadelphia Port. The manifests are available on Ancestry. If you don't have a subscription, you can use it at a local library or Family History Center if the have a subscription. Or you can post his name and age here and we can try to find it for you.
