I found these pages in a Processetti record and can't figure out what they are. I don't need a literal translation but any help in making sense of the relationships. Here is what I know:

Vincenzo Giuseppe Salerno married Gaetana Innocenza Salerno in 1816. He was the son of Francesco Salerno and Rosaria Iulianello. Both of his parents were dead by 1816. She was the daughter of Giuseppe Licolo and Santa Ciancio. Giuseppe died in 1802 but Santa was still alive. The names of the people do not appear in any of the other records/extracts, so I'm thinking because they are Salernos/Iulianellos that they are brothers/cousins/uncles of the groom?

Thanks for the help!

This is a verbal (minutes) of a "consiglio di famiglia" (family council) held to consent Vincenzo's marriage, since both Vincenzo's parents were death.
The council was made up by:
Pasquale Salerno, son of Domenico, age 41, farmhand, paternal uncle of Vincenzo
Pietro Salerno, age 30, paternal uncle
Giuseppe Iulianello, age 34, farmhand, maternal uncle
Pietro Iulianello, age 26, maternal uncle

The date of the document is September 14th 1816

Awesome, thanks Luca!

I'm thrilled by all the information that was in the processetti. Sometimes you hit a gold mine!

Hi,
this document is the consent for Vincenzo to get married. Men under 25 years old needed the parents consent (20 years for women). Due to the fact that Vincenzo's parents were both dead, some relatives on maternal and paternal sides, signed to give him the necessary consent to get married.

All four relatives gave their consent by signing with a cross, I assume this means they could not read and write.

Io conosco quella del prezzemolo....
Ma era colpa mia perchè me la son presa comoda e non ho guardato se qualcuno aveva già risposto.
Poco movimento oggi, eh?.... Mr. Green
