Hello!
Looking for ancestors ...pre 1900...
I'm a member of ancestry.com....and have almost exhausted the info ....I have some loose ends...and clean up to do...

Looking for ways to find out info prior to about 1900....

Francesco Pennachio was my great-grandfather...his wife was Anna but...I don't know Anna's maiden name....(children: fanny, mary, angelina...pasquale..joe/guiseppe...etc)

My grandfather was Guiseppe Genco married to Catarina.... What was Catarina's maiden name? ...(son=paul, daughter=rose)....

My grandfater was Nicola Fredico (or Fredricks, or Frederick)....he came with his sister when he was only 14.... his father (my great-grandfather) was vincenzo frederico... I heard stories about a "gun fight" in the old country... how do i find out who vincenzo's parents were?

thanks for the ideas !

What town was Francesco from? Did he and Anna travel to the USA together or separately? Please give year(s) of travel if you know them and approximate ages or years of birth. Also I'm assuming they were married in Italy...is that correct?

What town was your grandfather from, year of birth, year of travel, did they travel together and ages at time of travel. Were they married in Italy or the USA?

What town was your grandfather from? If you have the approximate/actual birth year or his complete birth date you can check the LDS site to see if there are films or you can write to the town and request his birth act based on his day, month and year of birth. You would also include his fathers name in the request.
