You can come here anytime you want (provided we stop getting snow storms here) the door is always open.

What a wonderful offer Ada made to you!

I told you we have the most amazing members here. Smile

Yes, it's an amazing site alright. I feel like I'm a member of something special here. Keep up the great work, I'll certainly do whatever I can if I'm able. I'm sort of a neophyte compared to you folks.

Aawwh, Joe...You fit in perfectly. We're glad to have you here and you have already done enough. I think everyone here will agree that it's not good to take ourselves too seriously all the time. It makes what we do that much more fun.

Shall I add a dancing banana here..or do you have another preference?

I think I would prefer a dancing olive splashing about in a vodka martini. Anyway, thanks to everyone for being so nice. Now I must shovel snow.

Be careful what you ask for here Joe!
You must eat too with those martini's!
Or do you prefer pizza?

Am I wrong or everything turns to eating and drinking? Mr. Green

Actually spaghetti with marinara sauce and large servings of chianti are my favorite. The little GIF files are neat, how do you do that? And yes, eating and drinking is the extent of this old guy's social life. Well, more snow to shovel. 6 additional inches today and -10 degrees tonight. Time for a dancing olive....

I love it! What a great way to brighten up a day like today. We haven't gotten any snow yet today Joe (we got about 3 inches yesterday) but we are expected more and with the windchill here its like -30 C!

Ada..is there anything other than food or drink thats important to us Italians? I remember my mother and my grandmothers always saying that a nice plate of soup or pasta with a small glass of vino could fix any problem! Smile

Ah, like this?
I created a Photobucket account and upload the images there. Photobucket gives you the code to post on a forum - you just copy and paste! Very easy.
It took me 2 hours to get to work today! Normally it takes 30 minutes. We have about half the staff here today!

Hmmm, sounds complicated...

You betcha!! Ski right over (but don't get hurt on the way). As for Joe and Cathy........jump on your snowmobiles and I'll have cocktails waiting! Mr. Green

Hi Joe,
Well the problem is solved regarding your letter to the Ufficio Anagrafe at Pieve di Cadore.

I've just come off the phone with the Registrar and he said they did receive your request and they replied via your e-mail (which was on your letterhead) on the 11 November 2008. I said it was quite possible then that it had gone into your spam box and had inadvertently been deleted... he was so upset and said he thought that would be the best/quickest way for you to get your document(s). He said to tell you "Sorry!"

So I have arranged for him to send the e-mail again today
AND
he will send you the paperwork you asked for via normal post as well..

So one way or another you should get what you need now.
Hope that's OK for you... So keep an eye on ALL your e-mails today!
