Hi all,
My GGF was born in Bisuschio, Varese, Lombardy, approximately 1862. His death certificate states December 4, 1862, however I requested a search of the Milan Archives using that date, and there was no result. Census records vary and indicate 1862 to 1867.
His name is Ambrogio Bianchi. His parents were Agostino Bianchi and Maria Nitti. I am trying to find his birth record and any family history. I have not been able to determine if he was in the US alone or with family, siblings etc.
My GGM, Annetta Nizza was born in Santo Stefano, Roero, Cuneo around 1876. Her parents were Antonio and Margherita Nizza. No maiden name for her mother.
They were married in Manhattan in 1905. They were both older, and so there is a good chance they were married previously.
I can not find any online records for this northwest region.
Any help would be greatly appreciated ! Thank you so much!
